MTN concludes Kwata Cash with UGX 50 Million giveaway

Kampala, Uganda: MTN today concluded its Kwata Cash promotion in which more than 600 participants have won more than half a billion shillings in cash and an additional 400 participants have won more than UGX 500 million in non cash prizes.
The final draw in which the last batch of winners were drawn and announced to the media, was held at MTN Towers where Sheila Kangwagye, MTN’s PRO picked out the weekly winners of the 100,000 , 500,000, 1 Million, 10 Million and finally the UGX 50 Million grand prize winner.
She remarked, “This has been an exciting 10 weeks for MTN and our customers. We have enriched people’s lives through Kwata Cash and we have also reinforced the bond between us and our customers.”
The promotion which attracted participation from all corners of the country saw MTN create hundreds of instant millionaires and thousands winning 100,000 and 500,000. In addition to the MTN customers, MTN dealers have also participated earnestly and will be rewarded during the grand prize redemption this Saturday 7th June, 2008. The trade winners will win among others; Motor bikes, Bicycles, Kabiriti’s, pay phones and airtime.
Since the onset of the promotion in March, MTN has given out prizes worth 1 billion shillings and changed hundreds of life lives for the better.
